The run has no competitive element and is an opportunity for you to drive your 25-year-old ‘pride and joy’ through picturesque parts of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The total route distance is about 120 miles. Younger, ‘interesting’ cars are welcome at the organisers’ discretion, just ask.
The start is at The Larruperz Centre, Grammar School Close, Ross-on-Wye, HR9 7QD (W3W ///save.system.roadshow). Tea/coffee and pastries are included at the start.
The day has been designed for two people; additional passengers are welcome and may be carried (for an additional fee). You will be given an easy-to-follow tulip road book to take you along our carefully designed meandering route, to a stop for tea/coffee and biscuits (included in entry fee) at a village hall on route. Then the roads will lead you through the classic Gloucestershire lanes to a very interesting location, the award winning Jet Age Museum with ample parking (https://jetagemuseum.org/, W3W: ///guesswork.foods.corn) the stop is for one hour, it is up to you if you wish to take a picnic as lunch is not included in the entry fee, entry to the museum is free and well worth a visit. After the lunch stop the route continues through Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire heading to the finish via a trip re-set at Pershore to the finish at Ledbury Rugby Club, Ross Road, Ledbury, Herefordshire, HR8 2LP (W3W ///twirls.belts.crabmeat) for a hot two course buffet meal (included in entry fee).
There are lots of beautiful views along the route with many places of interest. If you check the pictures at the back of the Road Book, you can mark them off as you identify them on your way round. The run is designed to show you some wonderful scenery, while also allowing you to see some other interesting vehicles and talk to their owners. We believe the run is first class value. We look forward to welcoming you to, or back to this beautiful part of the country.
We are doing online entry registration and electronic payments via BACS and PayPal or alternatively cheque. We have received great interest in this year’s event so please don’t wait too long to enter. Regulations open on Sunday 1st March and Entries will open on Sunday 8th March 2026 at 10.00am

Event Details
After learning some navigation, a Night Nav ‘treasure hunt’ is the next step on real roads to “call the route” to a driver. You get two hours to plot the route (on a table, just like home!) and also drive 20 miles round it. The Route Instructions are about 20 map references on our local Map OS LandRanger 162, perhaps with a few Spot Heights to confirm the shortest distance between the plots. On the correct road, you’ll start to see the codeboard Route Checks (treasures!) but don’t expect them at the exact references you’ve plotted.
No extra car insurance is needed, for this is deliberately within Social, Domestic and Pleasure motoring at a genuine average speed of 10 mph from Start to Finish.
