We ran a very good trial in nice mild autumn sunshine. The entry was down a bit this year with just 19 entries and one withdrawal the night before.

Six of the drivers were members of our Club. A small but experienced team set out the 8 hills on Saturday afternoon under Roger An- derson’s expert Clerk of Course eye in good weather.

Graham Spencer and Tom Baker were almost overwhelmed with marshals on the Sunday morning, a very nice situation to be in. Almost 40 signed on in addition to the usual officials. Many thanks to all those who came to help and I hope those new to sporting trials enjoyed their day out. The trial stated spot on time and we ran the planned 2 laps in the morning and then 2 laps after the lunch break. I am pleased to say the on site paramedic had nothing to do all day. Glenn Morgan used his van to take all the kit to and from the site and with the help of Stuart Ridge put it all back into the Club room. Neil Forrest did wonders on the results with his com- puter and big screen TV and the results were quickly announced and awards presented. I closed and locked the field gate at 5.00 pm after everyone had gone. The award winners are listed on the next page
