Marshalling tasks vary from event to event but basically there
are 2 main roles for the marshal:
1.
Scoring of competitors on an event
2.
Spectator control and safely
R&DMSC always welcomes new marshals, you don't event have to be
a member of the club to marshal an event.

The
Championship
For every event run by R&DMSC every member of the club can score
points towards the Marshalling Championship by organising, being
an assistant organiser or actually Marshalling.
The championship has its own set of regulations. The
results are published during the course of the year and are
available on this site as and when they're updated.
